This two-way loudspeaker features a 15-centimeter woofer and a soft dome tweeter. The technological breakthroughs developed for the larger EPICON 6 and EPICON 8 have also been applied to the EPICON 2, creating a loudspeaker that far exceeds expectations based on its size. The EPICON 2 perfectly demonstrates what this series is all about: Minimal signal degradation…or to put it bluntly: Transparency and openness at a level never before seen. This loudspeaker exhibits very linear and coherent behavior and is perfectly at home in small to medium-sized rooms. The woofer's frequency rolloff is very gradual, allowing the loudspeaker to extend deep into the lowest frequencies. All in all, in most systems, this will sound like a much larger loudspeaker than it actually is. Within its operating range, the EPICON 2 offers exactly the same quality as its bigger brothers, the EPICON 6 and EPICON 8.
