The ELAC Solano BS 283.2 is a compact monitor speaker characterized by its stylish design and easy placement. The downfiring bass reflex port for the bass frequencies is ingeniously integrated into the aluminum plinth. The double-sided curved bass reflex port minimizes any audible airflow that can occur when playing at high volumes. Two powerful 15cm XR (eXtended Range) woofers with AS (Aluminum Sandwich) crystal cones are employed, delivering powerful and clear bass and midrange reproduction. The JET 6 ribbon tweeter with waveguide delivers detailed and spatial high-frequency reproduction. The cast aluminum plinth with crossbars offers optimal placement options. The plinth is equipped with four M8 threaded inserts to which you can attach crossbars, which provide the speaker with greater stability. Spikes are included. The spikes can be positioned using the M8 threaded inserts in the crossbars to decouple the speaker from the floor. Floor-protecting base plates are also included.
